Do You Love the Loyalsock?

Is there a place that's special to you in the Loyalsock Valley? If so, I'd like to speak with you about being a part of my project.

My name is Chris Peirce. I'm a visual journalist (photo, video, and audio) and a grad student at George Washington University. I'm doing my thesis work on natural gas operations in the Loyalsock Valley, and the intersection between environmental concerns and public health. If you’re willing to speak with me,
I’d like to know more about your relationship with the Loyalsock watershed, forest, and mountains.

Please consider granting me a short audio interview. I would like to meet with you in-person if possible. If you’ve written any poetry, artistic prose, or music inspired by the valley, or your personal history near the Loyalsock, I’d be delighted to have you share that with me as well.

If time and weather permit, I hope to take some portrait photos of local residents in their “special place” in the Loyalsock Valley. Please consider being a part of this gallery.
