Protect The Loyalsock, Invest 3 Minutes Today.

Shale driller PGE's proposed Saluda Project in the Loyalsock State Forest includes a 3.9-mile access road, 6 well pads, 90 wells, 8 native trout stream crossings, and a clear-cut 50’ pipeline right of way, running down the mountain north of Jacoby Falls to Wallis Run Road.

Written comments concerning the pipeline project will be accepted until 4:00 PM Tomorrow, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, and should be sent via email to RA-EPEASTERNOGPRG@pa.gov or via mail to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Eastern Oil and Gas District Office, 208 West Third Street Suite 101, Williamsport, PA 17701.

Your submission does not have to be long. It can be as simple as:
Save Jacoby Mountain from wetland and stream degradation by PGE's Saluda Project. DENY THE PERMIT!

Don't forget to include your first and last name and full mailing address.

All comments, whether delivered orally during the virtual hearing or submitted in writing, will carry equal weight and consideration with DEP.

PA Environment Digest published Barb Jarmoska's full comment, which was too long to be read in full at last week's hearing. She covers the large and small points in her thorough and moving appeal.
